About Me

I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from BYU in 2013, and have found great fulfillment and joy in providing therapy to all types of people over the past decade. The first several years of my career was spent in rural, community mental health, working with children, adolescents and adults in psychotherapy and substance use treatment.

In 2016 I started working for a non-profit agency in Dupont Circle providing individual therapy to adults. In the summer of 2023, I made the exciting transition into private practice, offering individual psychotherapy to adults 18 and older throughout the DMV.

Part of being an attuned and skilled therapist includes a commitment to personal growth and development. For me this looks like continuing my education through post-graduate training programs and workshops, receiving professional supervision, participating in my own therapy, and practicing purposeful self-care.

I am licensed to practice teletherapy in D.C, Maryland and Virginia. Currently I am only meeting with clients virtually, and look forward to offering in-person sessions in D.C starting December 2023.
